A Message from the Superintendent
September 2019
Dear Hillsborough Families,
Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! We look forward to continuing our strong collaboration with parents and our dedicated community to provide excellent educational programming for all Hillsborough City School District students. We are also excited to welcome Mrs. Maria Brady, our new Crocker Middle School principal, to the Hillsborough community!
Our small class sizes, safe and clean schools, and overall excellence would not be possible were it not for the fact that we work closely with all of our parents, the Hillsborough Schools Foundation, the Associated Parents’ Group, the Town of Hillsborough, the Hillsborough Police Department, Central County Fire, the Hillsborough Beautification Foundation, the Hillsborough Garden Club, and many more civic and community organizations. Our students’ success is something that should make us all proud.
As a school district, we set high expectations for all students in learning environments that support social-emotional growth. The combination of these factors leads to high academic achievement and students who regularly demonstrate empathy and a deep care for serving others.
The beginning of the school year provides a fresh start for each of us: a new year of optimism, high expectations, and commitment. We have dedicated staff, talented administrators, and a special community that supports our schools. We look forward to continuing our strong collaboration with parents and our dedicated community to provide excellent educational programming for all Hillsborough City School District students!
Sincerely,
Louann Carlomagno
Superintendent
